The people you learn with

A few years ahead.
On your side.

A good tutor knows the subject.
It helps when they remember being the student, too.

Our tutors are students at Russell Group universities. You’re learning with someone who has recently made the move from school to university, and knows how much work goes into it.

Bring the topic that won’t click, the question you got wrong, or the part you’re embarrassed to ask about in class. That’s what the lesson is for.

Getting started

Meet them.
Then decide.

The first lesson is free so you can find out whether you work well together.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you’re studying

Your subjects, exam boards and what you want help with. A parent can fill this in for their child.

  2. 02

    We find your tutor

We read your request ourselves. Once you’re matched, pick a time for your free one-hour lesson.

  3. 03

    See how the lesson feels

Ask questions. Work through a topic. If you’d like to keep going, book your next lesson with them.

You don’t need to rely on “it was fine” after every lesson. Read the tutor’s shared feedback, see what’s coming up and message them directly from your parent account.

A few questions.

What happens in the free trial?

You choose a time for a one-hour online lesson with your matched tutor. There’s nothing to pay and no card details needed. Afterwards, you decide whether you’d like to carry on with them.

How do you find my tutor?

Tell us your subjects, exam boards and what you want help with. We read your request and find a tutor for you. Parents can do this on their child’s behalf.

How do parents stay involved?

Parents have their own account, where they can see upcoming lessons, shared tutor feedback and recorded grades. They can message the tutor directly, too.

Can I sign up as a student?

Yes. You can create your own account. If you’re under 16, a parent or guardian needs to confirm it before you can book lessons.

Who will you learn with?

Tell us what you need. Let’s find your tutor.
